Vision & Mission :
The main objective of the School is to make the students fit for the broader current of the universe. The School provides a balanced education for its students allowing them to grow in an atmosphere of frankness, freedom and mutual confidence, so that they can attain morally, physically and intellectually sound personality to be the good citizen not only of the country but also of the world.
Teachers' endeavour is to prepare the student to equip themselves for serving the nation as well as to explain their responsibilities towards the society . The school teaches that student life is full of responsibilities and duties.

School Magazine:
The last school magazine published in 2014 named "NIRMAL” Students, teachers, non - teaching staffs and alumni get openings here to publish their creative writings and arts.
School Library :
The school has its own Library and Reading Room. It is rich with thousands of rare and current books. It Contains huge collection of text books, reference books, books on literature, science etc. Students are allowed to use the Reading Room.
Hostel :
The name of the hostel is ‘ SADA SONA HOSTEL ’. It is situated beside National Highway just opposite to the main gate of the school. Presently it is not in use. Here you can find temporary campus of Dhupguri Girls College.
Science Laboratories :
The school has well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology , Geography and Computer Education.
Mid Day Meal :
As per the directives of Sarba Siksha Mission, the School has been running Mid-Day Meal arrangements quite successfully. The school has two kitchens and large sitting arrangements with proper water supply for this project . More than 90% Students from Class V-VIII participate in it.
NCC Training :
The school has got N.C.C. Training Facility for the students from class : VII to class : XII For this they must have required physical measurement and fitness. This training brings job prospects for the students and makes them physically sound and well - disciplined citizens having well trained capacity to respond to the call of the country. Students get "A Certificate" after successful completion of N.C.C. training in school level which helps them in various ways. (Presently Not Available)
Cultural Activities :
The school observes the School Foundation Day , auspicious Independence Day, the Republic Day, the Birth Day of Rabindranath Tagore & Netaji Shubhash Chandra Bose, Saraswati Puja, etc. with due regard and decoration. Exhibition on Science ,arts and paints is also held in every academic session. These help the students to develop their creativity and skill .
